Chronotile Ledger — Modular Display Typography for Calendar Design
Chronotile Ledger is an original modular display typeface developed by BetaCalendars Type Lab. Built from a deliberately limited square-brick system, it pairs architectural geometry with open counters and a steady rhythm for month headings, year labels, and prominent printed planner titles.
Its consistent cap height and compact, modular strokes are intended to keep headings visually organized while giving calendars a distinct technical character. The design favors clear, high-contrast shapes and dependable alignment over delicate detail; use it for titles and short labels, then pair it with a highly readable text face for long instructions or small body copy.
Design and use
- Calendar covers, month dividers, year headers, and printable planner titles
- Modular uppercase and lowercase forms with open counters

Verified character coverage
The constructed character set covers A–Z, a–z, digits 0–9, period, comma, colon, hyphen-minus, plus sign, solidus, and both parentheses. A blank space separates words. The preview has been checked with month names, a year, a slash-formatted date, and a time.
Practical notes
This is a square-brick display experiment rather than a small-size text family. Its strongest use is short, prominent calendar copy; test final print size and spacing in your own layout. Extended accented letters and broader punctuation are not included in the verified set.
